The Fifa raises serious allegations against its former top officials. According to internal investigations the former president Joseph Blatter, the former general secretary Jerome Valcke and the former finance director enriched themselves with about 79 million Swiss franc between 2010 and 2015.

German football legend and chief organiser of the World Cup 2006 in Germany has denied knowleadge of a payment which got from his account to Qatar and fifa officer Mohammed bin Hammam. The investigations of Freshfields had shown that six Million swiss franc were transfered from Beckenbauer's account to manager Robert Schwan, who died shortly after, and then to dubious bin Hammam. Internal investigations at FIFA reveal that Blatter and two other high FIFA officials, Valcke and Kattners, awarded themselves 72 million euros in bonuses paid from FIFA's funds. The three officials didn't need permission for the assignment of bonuses and salary raises, because Kattner himself was responsible for the department that handled salary administration.
