Police recover ?6?million netted by fraudster pair in carbon credits scam

Two fraudsters arrested and led away in handcuffs after landing at Heathrow have been stripped of nearly £6 million in crime profits after an international operation to recover their illicit gains from a huge “cold-calling” scam.

Csaba Tarsoly and other leaders of the Quaestor Group are under investigation for embezzlement, fraud and false accounting. Until the end of 2014 they have allegedly stolen 7,5 billion forints in cash. Quaestor owed investors a total of HUF 210 billion HUF when it announced that it was filing for bankruptcy.
