According to opposition politician Bertalan Tóth (MSZP), one of foundations of the Hungarian Central Bank called PADA settled its deposits to Evobank with a way lower interest rate than the Central Bank's base rate. Evobank was related to Tamás Szemerey, who is Central Bank Governor György Matolcsy's cousin.
